I started this small project with the idea to continue practicing 3d sculpting in my free time while working as 3D Artist at Illogic and it ended to be a final piece for a fantasy game environment.
The initial idea was to recreate a copy of the scan performed by Rubicon Technologies present on Sketchfab, but after finishing the sculpture I could not resist to texture it, so I decimated it, made the retopology into Maya and textured it in Sub. Painter. I also added some textures and nodes to the basic rock material in Designer in order to have a switch bar to add more or less moss to it. Once completed, I took the final shots into the Unreal Engine level of Elven Riuns. changing the lighting settings to focus them on my piece.
I hope you all will like this prop, as it will be part of a bigger, 3d game environment which I am currently working on in my spare time.
