After my degree in Graphics and Design Level 6 at Fine Arts Academy of L'Aquila, Italy, I graduated in the MSc 3D Computer Games Design course at Staffordshire University, UK. Started this path alone in the world of video games design with tutorials, manuals and lots of exercises to reach the same level of my colleagues. Always practising to improve in environments and props design and development for video games. Including game optimisation, retopology, texturing, and all the technical aspect of 3d modelling for video games.

Creation of high quality 3D environment assets
Integration of 3D assets into the game engine
Close collaboration with the Art Director and Lead Artist to work within the visual style of the game
Specific tasks:
Create high quality models and textures
Ensure performance and technical quality of 3D environment assets
Setup destruction, dynamic objects and other functionality of art assets
Optimization of assets to fit specific technical requirements
Cooperation with other Ubisoft teams all around the world on a daily basis

Key responsibilities:
Modelling, Retopologing, Unwrapping and Texturing 3D Game Ready Props to create beautiful and high quality game environments.
Creating and editing terrain level into Unreal Engine.
Managing and development of 3D Game Environments in Unreal Engine.
Basic skills needed:
Produce autonomously the modeling and texturing of 3D objects in accordance with the artistic direction and production deadlines;
Deliver work in accordance with the project's artistic direction;
Apply optimization to his work;
Efficiently apply graphic principles in his work;
Use and look for artistic references - in video games or in other artistic domains - in order to improve the visual aspect of the game;
Suggest images in line with the project's artistic direction;
Understand and implement the desired gameplay intentions in the game levels he is in charge of;
Key responsibilities: 3D modelling, unwrapping, texturing and rendering.
Creation of 3D props and characters for virtual scenarios, optimized to be used into VR and AR projects. Checking and helping other members of the team into the process of texturing, materials creation and optimization of the low poly asset for the baking.
Software used: ZBrush, 3dsmax, Maya, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, Own Game Engine VR STAR, Unity, Marmoset Toolbag, Marvelous Designer, Adobe CC programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, ecc)
